Meet Jennifer

M.Ed, Licensed Professional Counselor #91650
I attended Baylor University for undergraduate work, majoring in English with a secondary teaching certification. I received my Master's in Education from Texas State University in Counseling.
In addition to raising my own children, I have worked in the public school system for over ten years. Some areas of expertise: children and adolescents, life transitions, parenting, divorce, grief and relationships.
I have collaborated with school staff and parents to navigate the 504 process, peer conflict and the struggle to find balance in our fast paced world.
I have conducted trainings and parent workshops on Love and Logic, test anxiety and valuing intentionality and mindfulness.
I will seek to understand who you are by listening and being fully present. To do this well, I will work to understand where you are coming from, what you value and what drives you. I always seek to bring
self-compassion and curiosity into the counseling space.
